Place in the project. Civilizational Structural Algorithm supplies the historical, generative framework for forms of organisation. This book explains how those forms operate within one material production circuit. The Chinese and Western historical trajectories are not divided into separate volumes here. Other essays are projections of particular mechanisms into specific real-world questions, not new overarching theories.
In one sentence: productive capacity is not merely the ability to make something. It must also be accessible, find orders, reach people who can use it, and be able to start again after failure.
The place of people. Productive capacity cannot dispense with people who can work, learn, collaborate, and pass on experience over time. Chapter 01 briefly explains how the requirements of continuous production become sustained human effort; Chapter 06 explains why that effort requires support for life and the renewal of human capability. Myth, cultural history, and the human preparation for modern industrialisation belong to separate studies rather than another historical chapter here.
Reading order
Begin with 00-The_Subject_and_Use_of_This_Manual.md; consult Core_Terms.md as needed, then read Chapters 01–10. Reading_and_Verification_Rules.md governs the book's interpretive limits and later projections. Readers can also enter at Chapter 05's restaurant example and return to Chapters 01–04 for the premises.
